Yo! So this is your first ever song? It's a nice solid start! I like how you've got that weird "E" or "C" letter in the title too. I don't have any symbols like that on my keyboard. Well about the song, I like the beat. However, it doesn't make me think of anything having to do with the U.S.A. Also, you could improve it by adding in more variation depending on where you want to go with this.
First off, whether you want it to exclusively be a drum and base track or perhaps instead add some tunes is up to you. You could go either way with this. As it is, however it's plain. It's... rather linear, heading in a predictable direction. Don't get me wrong predictability is good to in a song, but if I could describe this piece as a line chart going left to right, this would be a piece with a plain gradual rise to the climax point that starts around 2/3's of the way to the end. Nothing too interesting or memorable happens throughout the entire song though.
Also since it sounds like you're just starting out I'll shed some advice that may help your future music on NG. It helps to know what you're making it for. It sounds like right now you're going for an entertaining, fun-to-listen-to-any-time kind of song. That's cool and ppl commonly like that stuff on here I think. But the other think that's also cool to make is music that can be used in a movie or game project, something with a theme and expresses a mood or story. I myself have trouble making that fun-to-listen-to-any-time kind of music. I post a lot of background type music that I have a lot of people messaging me asking to use in their game or video, which in my opinion is a great way to get noticed, especially since ppl start hearing it outside of the audio portal that way.
I can tell you from personal experience making music, just have fun with it and make it interesting! If you catch your own head unconsciously bobbing to it while working on it that's the first sign that you're on the right track! Hope all this is helpful toward your improvement!

Well to start, it certainly is dark, but I'm not really feeling any chills from it, but that may just be me. I think the snare strays away from the dark creepy feel you were going for, mostly cuz its rather too loud and present. What I, myself, would do, if adding in some sorta percussion to a song who's theme was of something eerie, is have the drum be more subtle and low volume. The piano sounds awkward against the strings, like you might'v been trying to play in a minor note but didn't quite make it. The melody feels kinda weird. It's not really going any where, disorienting almost, and with the beginning melody repeating the way it does the whole song feels rather like it's going in a short disoriented circle but all that may also just be me being harsh and critical... or it may not! You decide! I'm not trying to discourage! :P

RessurectedGir responds:

THank you. To be fair, I was utterly lazy with the violin instruments. I'll try updating this in a while.

It sounds very nice. Sound quality is alright, but it gets a bit hard to follow as far as a melody is concerned after about 01:00 mostly because the lead instrument, the Harp, sounds like its going all over the place. The Flute sounds nice during this time however, but is drowned out by the Harp to be easily noticed.

Osaki responds:

I've been trying to balance the harp and the flute because the flute is actually supposed to be the melody. It's kind of hard to do in the program I am using XD

Am i missing something here? I don't want to sound hard or anything but this doesn't sound anything like skyrim... not really sure im hearing any melody at all... :/

deendeon1000 responds:

Ha. not really sure if you've ever heard it or if your just trolling.

~ I like the sounds you used
~ has a nice strong menu feel
~ could use some more variation though... just seems kinda uneventful and unchanging

Great to see another fan of trailer tracks! I like what you did here. It's simple but you've gotten all the parts of different instruments right using just a guitar. I love listening to trailer music and the sort. If I could make a request, I would love to here what "Enigmatic Soul" (by the same company) sounds like done this way.
msg me if you ever get around to it

Chizrah7 responds:

Thanks for the great review! I'll se what i can do with Enigmatic Soul ASAP! Great to see there's another fan of TSFH out there \m/

Enjoyable

I like it. Its got a fun and simple feel and certainly makes me think of retro games. I would've put it under the video game genre as audio tho

Rampant responds:

Thanks :)

(I put it under Ska to try and avoid the zero-bombers, as they seem to target Classical & Electronic more heavily than more obscure genres...)

This is cool

Would also like to hear it with lyrics if its got any

TheFantasyClub responds:

There is no lyrics on it... sorry.

And... thanks for the 10!

I don't want a title

Your music is beautiful! Very much so! The only sad thing is that the recording quality is the only thing that keeps it from being perfect. You've got to make another remake of this one once you can solve the quality problem. I would defiantly want to come back in the future to hear this piece without the fuzz noise! I'd love it if u would just msg. me if you ever get around to that? That'd be awesome!

hazi responds:

Im planning on buying some new recording gear. thank you for your praise not many people like my music

what's Up!

It's your buddy, HonorOfStyle / Kirro. Anyways I just wanted to say that I found this song under the "Users who liked this also enjoyed:" category on one my own songs pages! Nice job becoming well known dude!

ChaosDragon004 responds:

I haven't forgot about you kirro, I've just been busy working on a song for an album for a metroid project on OC Remix.

I don't really do music anymore. I'm primarily working to build a career in animation now. If you wish to use my music I don't mind. Just let me know about it and credit me.
